Cross Body Hammer Curl

The cross body hammer curl is a famous exercise is usually performed to gain strength and muscle mass in the forearm and biceps. In fact, it is more designed to emphasize the forearm, specifically known as brachioradialis muscle.

The cross body hammer curl is a basic movement that is often lacking in training routines arm. It is normal, as it is an important exercise to work weaknesses and gain muscle in a section that is not as easy as you think isolation exercise.


How cross body hammer curl is performed?
To perform cross body hammer curl, we stand up with a dumbbell in each hand. Our hands should be down, and from our side, palms inward.

Keeping the palms inward and no arm twisting, will double cufflink right arm to the left shoulder while exhaling. We will touch the top of the dumbbell shoulder and maintain the contraction for a second to overload muscle mass.

We will lower the dumbbell slowly following the same path that we made the climb, while breathing in and then proceed to repeat the same movement to the left arm. Alternately continue in this fashion until the recommended repetitions for each arm which is indicated us in our training routine amount is performed.
